Location: Head Office in Karachi
Supporting the company's legal activities, making sure that pertinent rules and regulations are followed, and offering legal advice on issues pertaining to corporate governance, mutual fund operations, and other legal matters are all crucial responsibilities of the position.
Workplace prerequisites:
- Provide guidance on corporate governance issues, such as NBFC and notified entity compliance with the relevant regulatory framework.
- Help oversee the administration of the arbitration, litigation, or conflict resolution procedures When required, coordinate with outside legal counsel and represent the business in court cases and hearings.
- Determine legal hazards and support the creation of guidelines and practices to reduce them.
- Help with the timely and accurate preparation and submission of necessary regulatory filings to the SECP and other pertinent authorities.
- Help with the creation and legal review of company agreements, contracts, and other paperwork Help with the creation and execution of internal policies and processes pertaining to adherence to laws and regulations Any additional duties that may be delegated by

Essential Skills:
- solid knowledge of Pakistan's laws and regulations, especially those pertaining to financial services.
- knowledge of the Companies Act of 2017, SECP rules, and other pertinent financial legislation.
- outstanding ability to write and negotiate contracts. strong analytical and research abilities.
- the capacity to clearly explain complicated legal matters to stakeholders who are not lawyers.
- able to focus and oversee several projects while paying close attention to detail.
- having the right to appear in district and high courts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- minimum LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree from an institution approved by the HEC.
- Eight to ten years of relevant experience in corporate law, litigation, and advisory work, ideally in the mutual fund or financial services sector.
